I know Beyonce performs as Sasha Fierce but she may have another alter ego, supermodel Joan Smalls. Gotta love a good celebrity Doppelganger.
Shaun Ross, one of our favorite men of the runway, just announced on his twitter that he will be accepting questions and answering them on a soon to be viral video…Use this information as you choose. email@example.com
I always love Viktor & Rolf’s avant garde designs. They have truly outdone themselves in this Fall RTW 2011. My only contention is…really guys Ready To Wear. No one is ready to wear this, it’s purely conceptual. The line was incredibly structured, with detailed work on colars, shoulders and a string of wonderful silver pieces toward the end. They looked like something Morena Baccarin, Anna from V, should wear to take over the world. Don’t we all love a little alien chic?
You get a standing ovation gentlemen…bravo!!!
Which Fall RTW business look are you ready to wear?
Etro‘s classic little black dress with added pop of color and waist syncing belt?
Antonio Marras‘ take on a business suit? I love the collarless jacket and striped shirt, the asymmetrical skirt is a show stopper.
Moschino‘s super classic suit? The knit pencil skirt stole my heart and their Chanel-esk top was perfectly girlie.
Business man chic for ladies? Yes, thank you Paul Smith, because anything a man can do we can do better. His creased pants, tailored jackets, vests, and sweaters are fantastically wearable when paired with other more street friendly items. Try the tailored jacket with a mini dress or blousy jumper and creased pants are super cute with a sweater or over sized shirt.
Proenza Schouler blew my mind this season. I loved so many things and can’t wait to find these looks for myself.
It’s always been interesting to me how non-African designers portray African prints. I feel that PS did an amazing job conveying the strength and boldness of African print without making it a gimick. Thank you Proenza Schouler.

Ok I must admit I did’t get the amish girl chic of Rodarte this season, but here were some of my favorite looks from their show yesterday enjoy.

Backstage at Cushnie Et Ochs there is yet another nail fashion moment. The Moment, one of my favorite twitter style makers, identified the trend and I am here to report it to you. The trend setters at CEO painted their models with black nails and embellished them with black beads. This is a simple DIY. One nail at a time, paint one about three layers on black polish and add some beads, foil, or anything you like, then wait to dry.
