Just a little note for today! And don’t you forget it.
We all love a good transformation, look at the careers of Madonna, Cher, and Michael Jackson. Not everyone reinvents so well, I won’t call any names. But one celeb has a new face almost biannually, RiRi. 1. Little Robyn has no idea how fashionable she will become. 2. This was one of her first looks, she was so innocent and fresh. 3. RiRi before Chris Breezy. 4.RiRi after Chris. I guess it took a bad relationship to find her edge. 5. My favorite look was he blond tipped mohawk. 6. The hawk, all dressed up, she muted the blond and increased the coverage. 7. Here we go with the red tresses (not my fav). 8. Here she is on her vaca in Barbados just a few days ago. Is it just me, or is she going a little Beyonce?
RiRi was honored last night at the DKMS gala held at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC. Rihanna has helped raise awareness of the necessity of bone marrow donation and they obviously appreciated her effort. Aside from letting her humanitarian flag fly she was a stunning vision on the red carpet. I haven’t seen RiRi look this classic in a long time.
All-Stars is over and I loved every moment…even Rihanna’s performance. That’s a biggie, since her last few performances have been a mess. However, tonight she was basically on key and danced a bit…go RiRi. But the show stopper was her crystal bodice and fringe scort. What’s the name of her stylist? Then what’s the name of her hair stylist? Get him out of here…
RiRi is joining the select sect of celebrities with signature fragrances, they’re just letting anybody in these days. The perfumer, Parlux Fragraces, has given our little lady a change among other celebs. They have created smells for, Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, and Queen Latifa. RiRi’s scent, Reb’l Fleur, is scheduled to be released February 2011. The name was adapted from her rebelle fleur tattoo which is roughly translated to mean rebellious flower. Reb’l Fleur features scents of tuberose, violet, hibiscus, and coconut water (homage to Barbados). I must admit, I haven’t smelled the fragrance yet, but I do not like the aesthetics of the bottle. It’s probably not going to be in my shoping cart come the new year.
