The holidays were absolutely nuts. It was a flurry of family, friends, and drum roll please I got engaged!!! Along with about 2 million other lucky ladies from your social media feed. So, basically, I’m beyond excited and can’t wait to plan the rest of my life with my best friend. I’ll try to post as often as possible and continue taking pictures of my random crafts.
Here is the ubiquitous ring in the car shot. Come on, I had to, give a girl a break. Gotta love my big guy, he did so well.
Aaron, is the most caring, understanding, and loving man I’ve ever met. I am truly lucky and ecstatic to have the opportunity to spend my life with him. Thanks baby you are so amazing. Alright, now time to post some amazing crafts and get all Martha Stewart on that a$#…no more mushy stuff. We’re not about that.
Happy New Year C&C readers! December was an eventful month for your dear Cupcakes. I lost friends to eternal rest, completed steps toward a future desired, and found a special someone to breath my breaths with. All in all, an emotional roller coaster. Without going into detail, I’ve been pretty physically, mentally, and spiritually overwhelmed. To remain sane I had to keep one word in mind “balance.” I found balance in mentally stimulating conversation, laughter, meditation, and knowledge. Find what helps give you balance in this new year hone in on it and practice it as often as possible.
The new year has started and I’m hitting the ground running. I’ve already had two meeting about taking over the world and found some hipster inspired flowers for my sister’s bouquet. 2014 will be amazing.
How cute is my family at the Rose Parade? My Dad, two aunts and their hubbies grabbed 2013 by the horns and heading to the mean Pasadena streets in near freezing CA weather, hence the adorable hats. This simple act reminds me to keep family close and take on new experiences with enthusiasm. Have a powerful 2013 everyone!
