This Marc Jacobs rubber and rose gold cuff is my accessory of the month. It’s even in my favorite color!!!
This is the face to watch out for this season, Lara Mullen; this 17-year old dynamo has traipse down 9 runways in 5 days. Yikes, talk about work-a-holic. Her pretty punam has graced the stages of Marc Jacobs, Richard Chai, Rag&Bone, Prabal Gurung, and Alexander Wang. Werk it girl!
Marc Jacobs, one of the hardest working men in all of fashion-ville, is being courted by yet another fashion house, Dior. If he decides to take the challenge this would be label number 4 for him after Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Louis Vuitton. I even heard that he received a person visit from LVMH Chairman and CEO, Bernard Arnault. That’s major! Thanx Fashionologie.
I’m a girlie girl if there ever was one and I’ve been seeing some majorly girlie looks on Spring 2012 runways. Here are my favs…
Miu Miu featured some super cutsie lace mini dresses, ribbon adorned jackets, and detailed bags. The warrior make-up was the final touch… excellent!
It’s like Marc Jacobs was rummaging through my accessory drawer for this season’s Louis Vuitton Spring 2012. I’m a huge believer in flash and trash, otherwise known as sparkle!!! The silhouettes were amazingly girlie with lots of lace and bright colors. Oh Marc, my love, you always make me so happy!
People raved over Marc’s spotted back in February at the Fall 2011 shows. But now our friends at W have snuck us pictures of his new polka dot creations. I am personally going to pick up the clutch.
Louis V’s show was this morning and in my humble opinion Marc Jacobs out did himself. The military inspired line opened with a tailored and architectural look, the caby hats and super sheer bottoms, excellence! The show transitioned into a truly feminine aesthetic filled with fur and thy highs, my favorite! Then the show closed with pretty lazer cut pieces layered into typical, even conservative looks. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Feb 15 Fall RTW brought some heavy hitters!!!!
These were my three favorite shows of the day. Diesel brought the grunge. The beauty was grungy with understated make up and bed head. The skinnies and slouch pants featured amazing detailed fabrics and jackets to die for. Next, Marc, all I have to say is I’m getting something spotted for Fall. Then a lesser known designer, Tibi, out of New York with their fresh and clean looks, and of course I always love pink and green.
Marc Jacobs’ new flagship store in Tokyo Japan is the embodiment of modern and clean. The 2,800 square foot edifice was created by the Stephan Jaklitsch Architects which won them an Award of Excellence from the American Institute of Architects, this is like an Academy Award in their industry. I know most articles focus on what’s sold inside the building, I’m sure none of you forget that, but I love the design so much I don’t want to forget the designers either. If you are in or near Tokyo go visit this store, and pick me up something cute.
