Brunch is the fanciest of all meals. It’s for those of us too busy for breakfast but too hungry to wait for lunch. The staff of the La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla California set up such an amazing spread for my friends and I, just 15 amazing blogger and influencers enjoying a fabulous weekend on the beach.
I worked against my own best interests by noshing on chocolate, bread, and assorted libations, but what’s brunch without a few bad decisions.
The beach has always been a place of balance and reflection in my life, a place where I could focus on getting back to basics. There is something about being in the presences of all four elements at one time that really serves to ground me. I could barely even focus on eating while taking in the view. Ok, seriousness over…
I even made a little beetle friend. Hey, antenna off my pitaya, my new favorite fruit. Don’t get me started on my favorite pitaya bowl at Leno Juice Bar, but that’s a convo for another post.
I realized that I like Eggs Benedict. Look at this little nugget of amazingness.
We even had a private presentation of a La Jolla fashion line Timmithea. That cute little lady in pink is the fabulous Timmithea Leeds.
I obsessed over that maxi skirt. So Audrey! Well C&C readers look forward to more posts of my transcendental weekend at the La Valencia Hotel. xoxoxo
It’s been a little while since we spoke last. But I’ve definitely been a busy little beaver. Working, quitting, focusing on my consulting firm, and honing my photography skills. Here I highlighted my love of mint green, gold, white, and office supplies. I’m OBSESSED with office supplies…I wish the whole world was nothing but office supplies.
I also added some thank you cards, also an obsession of mine, and a bracelet given to me by my bestie at her wedding. “A” that’s me!!!
Lighting was a challenge but I’ll get this table top thing. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Today allow yourself the kindness of being active in the present moment. Accept each experience for what it is neither pushing away or holding on. This, the preset, is where you find happiness. In all things be mindful.

Audrey is a way of life. She is honestly one of the most timeless beauties in all of Hollywood. One major lesson to learn from her life and style is-simplicity. A quick way to assure simplicity is to take off one accessory before you leave your house. Don’t over do it.
Today I embraced my inner Audrey I wore a French Connection wrap shirt, black stretch pants, my coral necklace from Anthropologie, and Forever 21 over sized gray sweater and gold belt. I am so ready for winter, CA bring the rain!
I have always been a girlie girl with a twist. Definitely Audrey meets Rhianna, studded belts and pearls. I like being the best of two very different worlds.
You can have Kim Kardashian, this is beauty. Simple, clean, real. Being a woman who loves herself, respects herself, and carries herself like a lady is more beautiful than all the cosmetic surgery and contour in the world.
Audrey is the image of feminine beauty. My personal style has been partly based on her timeless beauty, I just can’t get enough of her.
