Today I pay homage to a truly life altering technological advancement, antibiotics. Antibiotics have changed the face of modern medicine and saved millions of lives, world wide, since its discovery by the biologist, pharmacologist, and botanist, Alexander Fleming in 1928. I’m sure we all either owe our own lives or the lives of someone we care about to these little wonder pills. So, let’s take some time to be grateful for those things around us that, in their absence, would make life impossible.
